MODEL #3 - $499.99

This electric smoker is made from 100% 18 gauge, 201 stainless steel and is designed for ease of use and portability. Every "SMOKIN-IT" Model #3 smoker comes with four heavy duty 4 inch diameter casters casters (you will need to attach), four stainless steel racks, smoke box, drip pan that slides under smoker and a rheostat for temperature control from 100F to 250F degrees. The smoker is fully assembled and ready to go, has a double latch door system and includes a sample of hickory wood so you can start using your new smoker immediately. The smoker Model #3 has the capacity to hold up to 45 pounds of meat or seafood. It has a 1200-watt heating element with LED indicator light, 10 amps 120-volt single phase, is insulated with fiberglass to reduce heat loss and has a 12 foot power cord. The inside dimensions are 15" wide x 20 deep x 22" tall with a total weight of 135 pounds. The outside dimensions are 17" x 28" x 29-1/4", with casters installed.

I purchased a Smokin-it #3 and absolutely love my smoker. I did a lot of research before purchasing an electric smoker and narrowed my selection down to the #3, and very happy that I did. I spent several weeks looking and read hundreds of reviews on all different types of smokers to include the Smokin-it. The craftsmanship, quality and simplicity of this smoker is beyond belief. I can't imagine any other electric smoker out performing this one. The design of this smoker will last a life time. What impressed me the most, was Steve taking time to speak with me on the phone and answering all my questions. I like doing business with companies like this.

Great Smoker But a Work in Progress August 18, 2014

I purchased this smoker a few months back and have tried a few different things.  Thus far, I have done a brisket, pork shoulder, St Louis ribs, cold smoked salmon for homemade lox (after I salt cured and brined) and will be doing a bone in pork roast followed by another brisket (packer this time).  A few things of note.  I would suggest using a thermometer to track the smoker temp and the food.  I have noticed that the smoker is a little inconsistent with its temperature but seems to run hot.  I think that is because it is made so well and sealed up so tight that it's like one big smoky pressure cooker at low temps of course.  Looks like my review is too long so will have to do another update.  Bottom line, use less heat and less wood to start.

Best smoker for the money. Built like a tank. I had a Model 2 for eight months sold it after saving enough aluminum cans to buy a Model 3.  Fist smoke with the Model 3, 2 racks of Ribs.  Thanks for building such a great unit.

25 years of smoking and a grand championship to my name in Northwest Missouri.  I have previously been a traditionalist with real smoking, but due to the fact that our condo association here in Florida does not allow "real" smoking, I opted for this electric model after scouring the internet for the perfect electric.  Go no further in your quest, this is it.  I just had salmon that is as good as any before, and the chicken wings are awesome.  One hour on the salmon and 1 1/2 hrs on the wings.  Set and forget beats constantly having to check the fire as in the past.  Can't wait to do brisket and ribs.  You will not be disappointed with this smoker.  Look me up on Facebook.  I will tell you personally.

Love this smoker August 10, 2013

I've now used this smoker 4 times.  It's built extremely well.  It couldn't be any easier to use.  As a tip, in addition to lining the bottom and the smoker box with foil for easy clean up...I simply put a large aluminum pan in the lowest shelf with the meat on a shelf above it and it catches all the dripping before it even hits the bottom...then I just pitch the pan and don't even have to clean the bottom.
