Love my #2 but the cover is gone	May 22, 2023

I bought my #2 and cover in november of 2019.
I love the smoker, the best one I have ever owned. However the cover is faided and thread bare after 3 years. the top is no longer water proof. I thought $69 was a lot to pay for the cover but now it's over $100. Overly priced for what it is.

Ridiculously overpriced cover	June 21, 2022

I've sat with this for a few weeks and it still bothers me. My wife got me a Model 2 smoker that I love. Great quality and well worth the money.
But she also got me this cover to protect that relative expensive piece of equipment at the cost of $110 for the cover. There's no getting around it, the cover feels cheap. In fact, I happened to get it at the same time I purchased a cover for my gas grill (different make than Smokin-it). This grill cover is about 6 times the size and is vastly superior in material quality and even has grab handles and velcro strap to secure it. It was $23 or less than 1/5th the cost of the smaller and greatly inferior Smokin-it cover.
I didn't feel right about sending it back since it was a gift, but more and more wish that I had. I recommend looking elsewhere for the cover for a cover for your Smokin-it. I don't imagine it's difficult to find something of the appropriate size.
