I have had the model 3 for 6 + years. I don't write many reviews. The smoker has been a tank. I have only had one problem with it and it was fixed very easily. I liked it enough that I made my work buy one. When the one work bought arrived the box looked fine and the smoker was damaged badly. I called customer service and told them what parts I needed to fix it. The owner told me he would call me back in just a bit. When he called back he said if you would pay shipping to ship the old one back he would send me a new one. I am a mechanic and thought the damage smoker would make a good backup for big parties. I asked if I could buy it from him and the parts to fix it. The reply was “no i don’t want a defective product on the market with my name on it please ship it back”

That is the kind of company that you should do business with!! He stood behind his product, and would not let a defective product with his name on it remain on the market.

Don’t frequently write reviews, but felt it was warranted in this case. I have had this smoker now for 6 yrs. I use it year round although less frequently during the New England winters. I do cover it in the winter, but not summertime. This thing is bombproof. Not one problem in 6 years. The fact that everything is stainless makes it so easy to clean and maintain. I did have an electric smoker prior to this(the one everyone has) and it lasted about 3 yrs. grates rusted. Aluminum oxidized. Did not hold up. Knowing that all parts are replaceable is even more reassuring, although haven’t had to test that yet. The quality and simplicity of this thing is amazing.

As an aside, I couldn’t figure out how to leave this review on the website tonight. I emailed the company and had a reply from the owner in less than 2 hrs. Btw. It’s sunday.

Enough said....

Best Smoker On The Market	October 23, 2016

I have been using this smoker for about a year now. It has turned me into a professional. If you haven't bought one of these, shame on you. Don't waste your money on the big box display brands. The don't last and the results are not always what you expected. I have smoked beef, pork, chicken and turkey with excellent results. It always keeps the family coming back for more. I have not been disappointed. Smoking it needs new customers because this thing should last forever. Stainless is easy to clean and seems to be indestructible. Extremely well built and quite heavy. Thank goodness it has wheels! If you want to smoke meat with professional results, get one of these. I love mine.

Purchased model 3 smoker and stand. Great unit had smokin Tex in past prefer this smoker based on performance and capacity. Can not beat price quality and personal service from owner of company. Look forward to doing business with smokin it again. Plan to highly recommend product and company

Smokes in any weather	February 13, 2016

I put my smokin-it 3 to a real cold weather test today, it's 3 degrees out here in north east pa today, fired it up outside today to smoke some Canadian bacon and it worked perfectly, came up to temp. very quickly and the temp. outside didn't seem to affect it at all. I've had this unit for 3 years and it works great every time. It really impresses me, can't go wrong with smokin-it units.

Ordered one of these model 3s a year ago as a Christmas present to my self. Well it's been 11 months an it still works as good as new. Smoked everything with it. Chicken pork beef wild game. Fish Elk buffalo bear deer . I'm not a master smoker but thus thing helps me I use it 2 or 3 times a month or more works in hit or cold temps here in Wyoming plus the model 3 has enough room to feed a party . An being all stainless insures it lasts. Definitely a 5 star product. Don't skimp n buy a junky big retail store smoker that cares more about number if sales than quality an that breaks or doesn't do what u want save n get one for life glad I did. I never right a review but this product deserves one. Great product followed up by great customer service , I did lots of research before buying an I'm sure glad I did

Better than expected!	July 22, 2015

I received my smoker in early June and seasoned it as mentioned. Since then I have smoked fish, ribs, wild hog, and chicken. All have turned out perfect! Very well built, very well insulated! While cooking you or your kids can touch the outside of the smoker without any risk of burns. The long electric cord is perfect! The smoker door seals perfectly and allows for flawless cooking. Lastly, if I were to build a smoker this is exactly how I would want it to perform. Only one problem was during shipping. The company that handled it somehow dented the smoker on the top right hand side of the rear of the smoker. No function problems, leaks, or heat loss from the dented corner. To the people at Smokin-It, thank you all! Each and every one one you have my sincere thanks! I appreciate the work you have put in to this product! Easiest review I have ever written.

A fantastic smoker, ESPECIALLY at this price point	October 31, 2014

After making the mistake of purchasing a cheaper electric smoker, having it die and ruin my BBQ, I researched electric smokers for weeks, reading hundreds upon hundreds of reviews, owner forum threads, forum threads from general BBQ Smoking forums, purchase reviews, checked the Better Business Bureau, etc... before making my purchase. I also asked some questions of the Smokin-It Owner Forum as well as directly to Smokin-It. My questions were answered in a timely manner and everyone I dealt with was super friendly and helpful.

Theses smokers are built like everyone says, like a tank. For just a little more money than you would spend on a "toy" smoker from the big box stores, you can get the real deal at Smokin-It. I would rather spend a little more money and purchase a smoker once rather than purchasing a cheaper smoker every year or two.

A huge Thank You to Steve, the Smokin-It team and to the forum members who helped me make an incredible purchase!

I BOUGHT THE SMOKIN IT III SEVERAL YEARS AGO. THE QUALITY AND PRICE WERE FANTASTIC. IT IS ABLE TO SMOKE SEVERAL PORK BUTTS AT ONE TIME, MORE THEN ENOUGH FOR THE LARGE PARTIES THAT I THROW. AFTER SEVERAL YEARS WITH ALL THE SMOKING THAT I DO, IT STILL WORKS LIKE IT IS BRAND NEW.

"Best Smoker on the Market"	August 23, 2014

I purchased a Smokin-it #3 and absolutely love my smoker. I did a lot of research before purchasing an electric smoker and narrowed my selection down to the #3, and very happy that I did. I spent several weeks looking and read hundreds of reviews on all different types of smokers to include the Smokin-it. The craftsmanship, quality and simplicity of this smoker is beyond belief. I can't imagine any other electric smoker out performing this one. The design of this smoker will last a life time. What impressed me the most, was Steve taking time to speak with me on the phone and answering all my questions. I like doing business with companies like this.
