Bought my first Smokin it in July of 2009. Bought a second one for my cabin one yer ago along with a third for my pal's retirement. Just ordered my 4th for new FL house. Have over 6 friends that have bought one as well. Great product!! Can't be without my smoker!

My wife bought me this for Christmas. You simply don't find workmanship like this in products very often any more. You should be proud of that! I lived in TN for a number of years and get discouraged going to BBQ places in Washington State. Now I can make pulled pork better than anything I can find locally. The electric operation makes it easy. If you are thinking about a smoker don't mess around. Get one of these and you will be happy you did.

SMOKED WHITEFISH!!! WOW!!	February 29, 2016

My mother bought me this smoker about 4 years ago for my birthday. I forgot about it and hadn't even opened it until last fall and tried it out with some whitefish fillets. I remembered when I was a kid we went on a trip to Canada and bought some smoked whitefish in MI.I fell in love with it and believe it to be the best fish I ever ate. Now I have that same experience again 50 years later with this little jewel! I love it for smoking fish so much I have yet to try it out on any other meat. But I will this year and I know if it smokes other meats half as good as the fish turns out it will be great!.

Speedy delivery!	February 26, 2016

Ordered a baby smoker (#1) with a stand plus a rib rack, seafood rack and cover. I ordered this on Monday PM, and it was shipped that afternoon! It was delivered Thursday morning. I seasoned it per instructions today, Friday. I am smoking ribs Saturday.
This is my first smoker. I was hesitant to start this odyssey after hearing what friends with wood burning smokers went through. That's too much work.
After reading many reviews, I pulled the trigger and bought this smoker. Both the smoker and the stand (the one with a door and storage) are built like tanks. These will outlast me. In this case you truly get what you pay for.
The hand written thank you by Steve was a nice touch. Also, a couple of freebies thrown in was appreciated.

Great Smoker/Great Company	July 11, 2015

I've had my "Little Guy" for one month and have smoked ribs, chicken quarters and roasts. The results have been incredible and more than I expected. If there is anything that exceeds the performance smoker it is customer service. They set the standard.
As for the smoker....it is well built with quality materials. Assembly is a no brainer 20 minutes and I was in the seasoning process.
To anyone considering an electric smoker Smokin-it is the way to go!

Received the Smokin-It #1 yesterday afternoon. For once UPS was early but, did the seasoning smoke. Also rained on my smoker as it was seasoning but the cover is on the way. This morning put in a water try, slab of ribs and one potato. Using 2 oz of oak and 1 oz of maple. Will smoke at 235 for 5 hours. Smear some sauce and cook another 1/2 to 1 hour. This unit is very tight. Was packed very well and arrived very nice. Also was given the cord hangers and rib hooks. Was not expecting these so that was a treat also.

Awesome portable smoker	April 18, 2015

I bought the Model 1 in June of 2013 so this review is based on nearly 2 years use. I primarily smoke salmon and pork shoulder but have also smoked thick steaks (after first grilling), hot dogs, hamburgers (after first grilling), sausages, brisket, roasted red peppers and mac and cheese. There are lots of things I really like about this smoker: No glass to get dirty, simple controls, durable, insulated for use in the winter, doesn't require a lot of baby sitting and it seems to last. I also like how portable it is. I take it camping. As for size, this model works quite well for my family of 4. I have two complaints, the first pertains to its height. It is short. You will kneel a lot when using. My only other complaint pertains to the cover. It is a very tight and as a result the corners tear the nylon. Overall, this is an excellent smoker though. I highly recommend it. There is simply no comparison to a smoker available in a big box store and its made in the USA.

This was my first smoker and I love it! Have several other smokers now, but keep coming back to the Smokin-it. I use a lot to make my baked beans, smoked mac and cheese, spiral cut hams, and chicken thighs. No baby sitting the temp and easy to use. Great intro into smoking!

Got mine on Tuesday (ordered Thursday), seasoned it and mde ribs and chicken last night. Only used two small chunks of wood for smoke. Feedback here at work from two gys that cook on BBQ teams (we're in Memphis) was they were some of the best ribs they'd ever had. Outstanding product, works as advertised and excellent C/S from Steve.
